What QScan provides

QScan provides educational information about food products. Scores are QScan's assessment of available ingredient and nutrition data. Product databases, label photos, and manufacturer information can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, and products can be reformulated.

Not medical advice

Scores, ingredient explanations, allergen flags, and Ask Quix answers are not medical, nutritional, or allergy advice. Always check the physical label, especially for allergens, and ask a qualified professional about health decisions.

Subscriptions

QScan's current RevenueCat catalogue expects weekly and annual App Store subscription options. The app reads the current price and any introductory offer from Apple through RevenueCat. It does not define a fixed trial length in code, so the Apple purchase sheet is the source of truth for trial length, price, and eligibility before purchase.

A subscription automatically renews under the terms Apple shows at purchase until it is cancelled in Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling prevents a future renewal and access continues for the period Apple confirms. Payment, renewal, refunds, and cancellation are administered by Apple.

Accounts

QScan starts with an anonymous account. You are responsible for activity on the device and any credentials later attached to that account. You can remove the account with Delete account in Profile.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, bypass usage limits, upload material you do not have permission to use, scrape or bulk export the catalogue, resell QScan scores, or present QScan's assessments as claims made by a manufacturer or regulator.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, Qubba is not liable for decisions made only from a QScan score, automated label reading, product record, or generated answer.
